The mission of Yaseen Educational Institute is to increase education in the Southern California youth and adult community through books, seminars, camps and relevant classes to help them in their everyday lives.

Our Vision
Yaseen Educational Institute, through its vision of a learning community, seeks to develop educational resources and platforms for the greater understanding of our lifestyle, cultural and spiritual teachings. Yaseen aims to empower individuals with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to successfully prepare them for the educational and spiritual challenges of life in the 21st century. The learning environment at Yaseen Educational Institute enables individuals to be aware of a holistic world view that allows them to make a difference in their families and communities.
Our Story
How We Got Started
Yaseen Educational Institute was founded in 1998 by a group of young men and women to facilitate the educational needs of students attending college. Faced with the challenge of keeping their identity, they designed a place to learn together while experiencing the university life. Our community has now developed into a vibrant place where college, out of college and young couples gather to build our future.
Where We Are Now
Since its humble beginnings, Yaseen has continuously grown and expanded, currently holding regular programs at two locations in LA and OC with various regular programming serving our growing community.

Yaseen is a non-profit corporation under the provisions of the California Non-profit Corporation Code incorporated in 2004. Yaseen Educational Institute is organized exclusively for educational and literary purposes, within the meaning of section 501 (c) 3 of the 1986 Internal Revenue Code, as may be amended from time to time. Yaseen Educational Institute consistently attempts to maintain full transparency of its finances and can provide tax-deductible receipts of all charitable donations made by its members, whether through recurring monthly contributions or one-time gifts. Yaseen is also eligible to collect khums.
